Vasco Gaspar
Vasco believes that a “new world” is possible in organizations. A world where wise and compassionate leaders are really able to “lead from the future as it emerges” as well as to inspire people to flourish into their highest potential, igniting a real evolution in teams and organizations.
With a toolbox filled with “cutting-edge” awareness-based technologies (e.g. Search Inside Yourself, ZBHD, Integral Model, Presencing/Theory U, Element-B) his dream is to co-create this future, something that he has been doing in the last 12 years at different organizations as a facilitator and with the general public around the globe as a social entrepreneur (ZorBuddha project).
During one year (2014) he was trained by SIYLI (Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute) with some of the world greatest specialists in the fields of Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence and Neuroscience (e.g. Daniel J. Siegel, Chade-Meng Tan, Norman Fischer, among others), to become one of the first persons in the world certified to facilitate Search Inside Yourself, a Leadership and Emotional Intelligence Program, based on Mindfulness and Neuroscience, that was developed and tested at GOOGLE to increase organizational performance and wellbeing, as well as to enhance the conditions for world peace.
In 2015 he was accepted as part of the ACEL (Academy for Contemplative and Ethical Leadership), a project from the Mind and Life Institute that aims to accelerate the development of a new generation of leadership capable of collective innovation and creativity.
He is the author of the book “Aqui e Agora: mindfulness”, launched in Portugal in September 2015.
